Baraboro

Baraboro- electroacoustic, audiovisual project by Gintė Preisaitė based in Denmark and Lithuania. This universe is a creation of the processed field recordings, sound granulations, adaptations, transformations, re-de-constructions, absorption of the industrial patterns by braiding it with softer harmonies and collaged melodies. Artist is curious about the emerging line between synthetic and organic, between the two becoming one, between the different materials colliding and creating a new unrecognised space .It is a playful, very open space to explore various tools and ways to make music. Gintė is a pianist by nature and has been playing in various constellations as an improviser. However, here artist embodies Baraboro- a soundwitch that seeks to surprise and immerse.
