Cumbiatones

Cumbiatones is a Psychedelic Cumbia band based in Edinburgh (Scotland). Formed in 2021, Cumbiatones combines tradicional Cumbia rythms from Peru (Chicha), Argentina and Colombia with rock music psychedelic sounds and energetic riffs that will get the crowd dancing non stop. . A band made up of musicians from different nationalities such as Chile, Argentina, Spain and Scotland demonstrates the deep fusion within their original songs. Salsa, rock, flamenco and blues merge within the framework of cumbia, leaving a Latin flavor in cold Scotland. . The band has been playing in different venues around Scotland (Stramash, The Caves, Summerhall, Vodoo Rooms, Whistle Binkies...) as well as festivals (Fyne Fest, Strathyre Fest...).
