Dauw, literally ‘condensation of atmospheric moisture in the morning or evening’, is a subtle nuance for the presence of this Belgian bred music lover with a deeply rooted passion for jazz and soul music. Not sticking to one particular style his sound is best described as house music in all its deepest forms and tempo ranges. Warm melodies often go together with groovy, heavy bass lines creating a particular deep vibe that has energy enough to get the party started, to going way passed sunrise, and every moment in between. Add some strong emotional flavour to his defined sense for depth and rhythm and he’ll spark you up on a journey that makes your heart, mind and feet wander over and over again. Although some might know him best as one half of dj duo Dauw & Schemering, bearing an elaborate list of delicately crafted podcasts for well respected music channels, he’s mainly been found playing sets around Europe and North America. The impact of those places and cultures led him to pick up producing and keep the creative juices flowing.
