Easterfield

A jamsession in Emmen (NL) in the summer of 2011 caused three blues musicians (singer Bram Goeree and guitarists Olaf de Groote en Ruud Goeree) to start a band, Easterfield was born. Easterfield’s own ‘Double Trouble’ would eventually join them later on with Maikel Tanger on drums and Kris Tiemens on bass and they started gigging, playing shows all over the country. Their first single ‘Trouble’ landed on number 1 in the iTunes Blues Top 100. 09-26-2016 they had the distinct honor of paying tribute to one of Holland’s greatest blues legends the late mr. Harry Muskee (Cuby). 2017 is the year of Easterfield’s debut album ‘The Honky Tonk Sessions’, aptly named after the rehearsal room (Honky Tonk) where most of the writing, rehearsing and recording took place. The album was released on January 22nd during a soled-out cd presentation gig in Melody, Emmen (NL). Even though the band has still only been together for eight years now, they sound more like 25 years on stage! On that very stage is where Easterfield shines and comes alive. With the raw, but warm vocals, breathtaking guitar riffs and a solid grooving foundation that will make you want to dance. This is one Blues-Rock sensation you don’t want to miss!
