Emmanuel skyrocketed to fame following his X FACTOR appearance at just eighteen. His performance attracted over 500M views on YouTube, instantly propelling him into the spotlight and leading to collaborations with high profile celebrities including Demi Lovato, Snoop Dogg, David Foster, DJ Paul Oakenfold, Elizabeth Moss, JK Simmons, Bruno Mars and Chris Martin. His story is one of triumph over adversity. Found as an infant on an Iraq battlefield, he was raised in a Baghdad orphanage amidst harrowing conditions, witnessing every day the horrors of war. His journey to Australia for life-changing surgery, enabled by the renowned humanitarian Moira Kelly, marked the beginning of a new chapter. This new life is one filled with achievements, alongside his brother Ahmed, rescued from the same orphanage and now a four-times silver- medalist Paralympian swimmer. In 2024, Emmanuel became the first physically differently-abled artist to perform to stadium crowds when he opened for COLDPLAY on their record-breaking "Music Of The Spheres" tour. His single “My Sky” garnered over 30MM views on TikTok. Spotify ranked EK in the Top 30 of the most globally influential artists to come out of Australia.
