Three-time British CMA ‘Duo of the Year’ and Birmingham Music Awards ‘Best Folk/Country Act’ Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, guitar driven duo, hailing from Birmingham. With cleverly constructed lyrics, close harmonies and melodic guitar licks, they are known for delivering sharp, energetic performances with playful humour and serious musicianship. Their debut single ‘Fool’s Gold’ reached No.1 in the UK iTunes Country Chart, gaining further momentum from the release of fan favourite ‘Never Have I Ever’ featuring on Radio 2’s The Country Show with Bob Harris. Transatlantic performances from LA to Nashville has attracted international recognition landing several major global brand endorsements (Blackstar Amplification, Auden Acoustic Guitars, Gordon Smith, Klotz Cables, Right-on Straps & G7thcapo). 2022 has shown G&M light up stages at festivals across the country, and the band are excited to now be taking their energetic full band live show on the road. Performing at C2C 2024, a 5 date UK tour with Matt Hodges, Speedfest Country Festival & Rock N’ Ribs festival to name some shows in 2024.
