Mafalda

Born in London to a Spanish-Bulgarian family, Mafalda is a singer-songwriter. In April 2021, Mafalda released Bailando Sin Sentido her first EP predominantly in her mother tongue Spanish. “This EP is incredibly personal for me and I hope it will become personal for the listener, too. Each song exposes a little piece of my life and is a reflection on something I've experienced, but more broadly, the EP is about introspection. I hope this music expresses that it's ok to feel confused and vulnerable and uncertain. Life is complicated! And sometimes, even in our darkest moments, there are opportunities to find light as we rediscover our confidence, build self-empowerment, and gain reassurance that we are not alone.”
