Marenna

Rod Marenna is a rock singer/songwriter from southern Brazil. With over 30 years in the music industry, Rod has played in several cover bands and music projects, allowing him to develop his distinct style, which consistently blends hard rock and heavy metal. In 2014, Rod formed his own band, Marenna, as a solo project. His songs reflect modern, everyday life, underscored by messages of optimism, resilience and faith. In 2015, the band placed #9 in the Sweden Rock Festival Competition and, in the same year, signed with the Danish label Lions Pride Music, which released their EP "My Unconditional Faith" (2015) and full-length album "No Regrets" (2017). Both sold out and received excellent reviews worldwide. During the “No Regrets Tour,” the live album "Livin' No Regrets" was recorded and released by Sony Music in 2018 on all main digital platforms, with physical distribution handled by Rock Company (Netherlands). In 2021, Marenna released the EP "Pieces Of Tomorrow," with the singles "Getting Higher" and "Had Enough" receiving great reviews. In 2022, the band, with a new lineup, released the album "Voyager" and played at major events like Capital Moto Week in Brasília. They also opened for acts such as ANGRA, ERIC MARTIN, DANNY VAUGHN, CRAZY LIXX, GEOFF TATE, and SCORPIONS. Get ready for their upcoming album “Ten Years After".
