Calgary AB Canada www.markpharrowmusic.com/booking Mark Pharrow is music for the MIDI generation (music instrument digital interface).  With more than 20 years of DJ experience, he’s known for his unique performances that bend the barriers of house music and creating a sonic variety of mood and energy with every performance . In 2008 a short hiatus became a long one with Mark stepping away from public performance to focus on his family life.  The music however never lost its’ hold.   In 2021 during the covid-19 pandemic, Mark realized life can change in an instant and decided in that smokey skied summer night watching a little known Canadian artist that goes by DeadMau5, that he would never live down the regret of not taking on production seriously.  “I set a goal, no more giving up or getting discouraged by self doubt and perceived failures, I will be proficient in music production.” Mark has made good on his word. He’s not only re-emerged as a DJ but arrived a producer with his own original tracks, his debut single “Burning Ember,” on UK: “Twists of Time.”  The track cracked the Beatport Top 100 and was then featured on Twists of Time "Tech house Master’s" compilation. On the performance front Mark finished 2023 sharing the stage with Grammy winner Roger Sanchez following up as performing support for EDC Vegas act Joluca. 2024 has proven a busy with performances and releases with singles dropping from labels in Canada, USA, The United Kingdom, Brazil and Hong Kong.
