Matalobos

Formed in 2014, Matalobos is a dreadful fusion of Mexican folklore and Melodic Doom Death. Matalobos takes you on an unforgettable musical journey through the haunting legends of our hometown, Guanajuato. Our lyrics delve into introspection, horror, and Mexican folk tales, delivering a message that resounds in listeners from any background. Matalobos career is composed by two EPs: "Matalobos" (2015) and "Until Time Has Lost All Meaning" (2017), and two full-length albums, "Arte Macabro" (2016) and "The Grand Splendour of Death" (2020). Re-release of the first EP "Matalobos" and a remixed/remastered version of "Arte Macabro" are also out now. NEW ALBUM, "Phantasmagoria: Hexed Lands" coming Feb 2025.
