Michael Damani

Michael Damani is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist based in Chicago. In 2012 he enrolled in Columbia College’s Jazz Performance program, and following two years of instruction he began his professional career. Playing in various bands and ensembles he quickly attracted the attention of the esteemed Original Chicago Blues All Stars. Led by Freddie Dixon, (son of the legendary Willie Dixon) Damani toured and performed around the world with this group from 2017-2020, including Australia, Paris, Toronto, and Brazil. In recent years, Damani has started his own band, and has continued performing with prominent artists such as Isaiah Collier & The Chosen Few, Elizabeth Moen, and Tamarie T & Thee Elektra Kumpany.
