Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, session musician, and performer. Originally from California, Michael owned and operated recording studios in Southern Oregon and Portland before relocating to Nashville in 1996. In 2008, he returned to the Northwest and established The Song Mill Studios near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where he continues to create and collaborate with artists, musicians and producers worldwide. Michael is the band director for Inventioning, One Street Over, and the upcoming Legends of Yacht (debuting in 2025). He performs live with his daughter Bridgette and son Jordan as One Street Over and will feature the same lineup with the new Legends of Yacht Band. With credits on over 70 albums, Michael's extensive career includes multiple gear endorsements and his own line of electric guitars, Michael Lewis Guitars. He has collaborated with legendary artists such as Jon Anderson (YES), Jean-Luc Ponty (Frank Zappa), Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Phil Keaggy, and more. He was also the guitarist for the Radio Daze Big Band in Nashville and toured as a solo Christian artist from 1986 to 2006.
