Born under the unforgiving sun of Almería, Spain, Nexus is a modern heavy metal band that mixes the attack and catchiness of melodic death metal bands of the early 2000s with modern progressive sensibilities resulting in an eclectic yet uncompromising sonic assault that merges evocative electronics with crushing downtuned riffing. After playing Euroblast Festival and years of intense work, Nexus completed their ambitious, long-time in the making debut album 'What We Were, What We Are, What We Will Be'. Recorded between Almeria (Spain) and London (UK) the album has been engineered and produced by Julian Blanco, featuring Boris Le Gal on drums from Chimp Spanner and Betraying The Martyrs, Jon Howard from Threat Signal as a guest vocalist on the track Betta Splendens and Acle Kahney (TesseracT) on the mastering duties at 4D Sounds
