Niteshade

Formed in 2022, Niteshade is a dynamic collective of Boston-area music teachers and part-time musicians who came together with a shared passion for funk, soul, and jazz fusion. What started as a side project playing porchfests and farmers markets quickly evolved into something bigger, as the band’s infectious energy and tight musicianship propelled them onto some of the most iconic stages in New England. In 2024, Niteshade landed a coveted monthly residency at the legendary Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, MA, solidifying their place in the region’s vibrant live music scene. Their self-titled debut EP, Niteshade, showcases the unique voices of each member, with five original compositions blending deep grooves, rich harmonies, and improvisational flair.
