Øyunn

Øyunn is a drummer, singer, and rapper known for her honest and expressive blend of alternative pop, hip hop, and indie. Her debut album Aspects is a concept album originally developed as a mix of film, performance, and music. Through her alter ego, Rosa, Øyunn tells the story of a character who loses her integrity in a dysfunctional relationship, but gradually learns to trust herself and reconnect with her own voice. The album earned her the New Jazz Artist of The Year at Danish Music Awards 2024 as well as the Visionary Award from Tivoli. Based in Copenhagen, Øyunn works as a musician, composer, and actor in stage performances, while also collaborating with other artists. As a drummer and backing vocalist, she has performed with renowned acts such as Nils Frahm, Guldimund, Efterklang, Bugge Wesseltoft, Agnes Obel, and Sam Gendel.
