Indietronica / Alternative Dance / Electropop Paradisco are Berne based singer and electronic artist Lea Heimann and her blood sister, groove-wizard Katharina Reidy. Named after a Song by Charlotte Gainsbourg, this thrilling duo is well known for their intense and wild on-stage performances. In a short time, they made their way from a well-hidden gem to an acclaimed and respected player in the swiss electronic scene. At first glimpse, one could think of a simple wordplay. And yes if you’re lucky you might find your personal paradise on a disco’s dance floor, but that would be much to simple: This duo is up for deeper stuff! Think of parasites or paranoia to name a few. It’s exactly this paradox space, in which their music breathes its very unique DNA. It’s this interspace that they cultivate, not only in their music but in the wider picture of their artistic understanding, as well as in various inspiring collaborations with other artists such as Tamara Janes, Rico Baumann (True), Silver Birch and E&A Rueger along their way. While the emotional temperature of some of their musical key-influences, such as Connan Mockasin, Christine and the Queens, Helado Negro, Melody's Echo Chamber and Laurie Anderson among others, were clearly sensible in their first Love Is My Lifestyle EP (Oh Sister Records), they didn’t stop to dig deeper towards their very own perspective of sound. New album “Revenge of Minti Chlorella” coming this fall.
