Drawing inspiration from the dreamy tones of ‘80s synth pop and the modern production style and techniques used in electronic music, South Wales’ PARCS have pioneered a future-leaning euphony that’s both uplifting and introspective. The band's sound is characterised by shimmering synths, hooky guitar riffs, driving bass lines, and four to the floor drums, with bittersweet, melancholic choruses that you can't help but move your feet to—it’s music with both groove and heart. Headlining the Settlement Stage at Greenman Festival 2024, as well as a stage at BBC 6 Music Festival Fringe in Cardiff, the quartet have become regulars at Focus Wales Festival. In 2024 they were awarded BBC Horizons funding which helped fund their future new release.
