We are a brother and sister duo, Jesse and Cheyenne Hill. We're just a kooky pair of creatives with soulful melodies and groovy rhythms cruising along the Western Cape of South Africa. Raised in Durbanville, Cape Town, we grew up with a taste for music and a thirst for jamming. Our family and friends are passionate about music and so it feels natural to follow its call. We perform through Ableton Live looping sessions and sequencing - just us two. However, our style and voice are brought out best in the company of our friends and band members. Our cousins, Matthew Hill and Andrew Hill, as well as us, Cheyenne and Jesse, were the routine afternoon show at any family gathering - non-negotiable. We were fed songs of great musicians and taught the value of meaning in melody. Music is our culture. And so, we have a community of musicians who have helped bring us further in our pursuit. Matthew and Andrew, Brandon Waddy, Ben Botes, Gerchim De Bruin, Sharlton Leo, Ryno Smit and Steven Clack have help craft our style. Our Mother and Ouma were our teachers. Jamming at our friend's houses or Open Mic nights at the Wilderness Beach House Backpackers, we've been surrounded by an abundance of musical talent to learn from. Rhythm and style.
