Pleasantville

Working from their home studio in beautiful country Victoria, Pleasantville is an all-family affair for Richard and Michelle Pleasance. Richard, ex Boom Crash Opera hit-maker and more recently acclaimed screen composer, lays down the backing for Michelle’s warm, seductive vocals. The pair’s love of vintage sounds and singers is ever-present. The result is a mix that’s exotic in atmosphere and sweetly haunting. The tracks Where Do I Belong and Good Thing both featured in the film Kenny, I'm On My Way in the film Brothers' Nest and Lock & Key in the TV series Wentworth. Pleasantville also provides the Wentworth theme song with Wentworth (You Don’t Know Me) which can be found on the Wentworth Vol 1 soundtrack album.
