Ramblxr

Hi! I’m Elias Alexander and Ramblxr (pronounced "rambler") is my Celtic EDM project. I take fiery melodies from the Scottish and Irish traditions and weave them with tasty beats influenced by disco, house, and bass music, then throw in a dash of psychedelic performance energy, and my desire to explore themes of belonging, connectedness, and liberation. I play bagpipes, fiddle, whistle, guitar, percussion, and keys on the recordings, and produce all the tracks. Sometimes I feature my friends. I’ve spent a lot of time touring with traditional and fusion Scottish music groups. When the first lockdowns hit, I turned my attention towards electronic music production. There’s something deep in this tradition of music that I want to share with more people. There’s a rootedness, a draw towards community and connection with the earth, and a fiery danceable energy that I don’t find anywhere else. I hope you connect with this music as deeply as I do, and dance to it with pure joy!
