Brewing below the moody blanket of the Pacific Northwest sky, Seaside Tryst is bringing a colorful pastiche to moody indie dance jams. Seaside Tryst is more than a dramatic way of saying “sex on the beach”. Infectious melodies, angular guitars and pulsating synths keep crowds grooving at live shows in goth clubs and gay bars alike. This foursome is a tight-knit chosen family woven together by a mutual interest in glittery pop, men in eyeliner and taking care of one another. The band is excited to announce the release of their first full-length record “Different Places”, a modern new wave gem produced by Jenn Champion coming out on Cruisin' Records this fall. The album is a milestone for the band, who have otherwise self-released EPs and online singles. “Different Places” is a testament to the magic of queer collaboration – with Jenn Champion’s keen ear and guidance, these gay pop-obsessives have crafted an emotional, sonically captivating record.
