Simon Stanley pens tales both candid and tall. Known for his vivid imagery and fluid storylines, his writing has shifted and adapted to the varying phases of his life including a relocation from his New Zealand homeland to Nashville, TN. His first single “Marley Sitting on a Pumpkin Seed” (winner of the 2019 NZ Music Award for Best Children’s Song) is a letter to his niece Marley, describing all the wonderful instruments that play a huge part of his life as a country-music musician. 'Floating Down the River' is his second single out Oct 8 2021. It's a dreamy trip down a lazy river; a family adventure through lush flora and fauna; and a hard day's splashing around - winding up with two tired kids, tummy-full and ready for bed. The song is accompanied by a music video and an illustrated book, released Nov 1.
