Hailing from Washington DC Peter Nguyen was donned ‘Sketchy Pete’ after a group of friends saw how less than perfect his kickflips were. Since then, he has been trying to bring the raw, gritty, and unapologetically authentic style of skateboarding into the world of EDM that seems, on a surface level, to be plastered with inauthenticity. Blending hip hop from all generations with heavy bass music, Sketchy Pete is set on bringing the vibe switch when it comes to throwing a party.
