Stephen Lockhart

Hi! I'm Stephen Lockhart, and I'm a singer-songwriter from North Wales. I try not to get completely tied to one style or genre, and I like to lean into my quite varied influences. My latest release, ‘Hope Without Hope’, is one I’m particularly proud of, because I feel that I managed to balance meaningful lyrics, catchy hooks, and interesting arrangements. It felt like a real step forward as a songwriter. ‘Here’, was written with someone very special to me in mind. It’s a song about sticking by someone through everything. My debut album, 'Thinking Over Over Thinking' is a collection of 13 songs that came about after trying to make sense of some times in my life that just refused to make sense on their own.
