The Crosslegs
Rock / Folk Rock
The Crosslegs originated in Tartu in 2016 when childhood friends decided to form a band together. This five-member group consists of individuals with diverse personalities who complement each other both in life and on stage.
What does it take to have a pleasant time?
1) A flute that dances on the border of jazz and folk.
2) A piano that carries both dazzling melodies and provides dynamic harmonic support.
3) Distinctive vocals that give the whole picture an Irish and poetic feeling.
4) A solid bass that has been shredded on more than one occasion.
5) A rhythmic guitar that gives voice to all the thoughts on the mind.
6) Drums that serve as the backbone of the band with their psychedelic-folk vibe.
The music of The Crosslegs can be described as modern folk-rock with Irish influences, radiating the youthful energy, poetry, and romance inherent in a university town. It's a true friendship and joy of playing together.
On September 22nd, their debut album "Lilac" was released. Two singles "Hence He Waits" and "Affability" made way to the 14-song LP. The blooming of the album can also be seen on the cover art - with each release, the lilac blooms more.
Alden Kirss - vocals, guitar
