Trashed

Trashed GB

Punk / Pop Punk / Punk Rock
Bristol, UK. Trashed began by releasing their debut single 'Waste Away' at the start of 2019. Shortly after, the full EP 'Yours Not Mine' (produced by Neil Kennedy and Kurt Fagan) was released, and the band began touring the UK and working on their second EP 'Faceplant' which came out in Spring 2020. Their second EP’s release was impacted by the pandemic, with the release date being missed by distributors. The EP still helped the band grow and develop their sound. Over the pandemic, Trashed accumulated an album’s worth of material and went back into the studio with Neil and Kurt in 2021. 'Happy in Hindsight' is the band’s first full-length album. With the songs being written during a global “rough patch”, the album’s lyrics are introspective and cathartic and the sound more defined. Two of the singles got on BBC Radio 1, with Nels Hylton playing 'Decay' and 'Memories'. The Bristol date of their album release tour sold out, their first sell out headliner. In 2023 founding members Sam Yesner and Ben Wood decided to leave the band to focus on other areas of their lives. Frontman Jimmy Embleton-Smith found new drummer Mike Boken and bassist Oscar Manners and released the single 'I'll Stay Away' (produced by Ian Sadler) at the start of 2024. The song was played on BBC Radio 1 by both, Nels Hylton and, Alyx Holcombe. The band sold out the Exchange in Bristol on the single release tour, their biggest headline show so far. Now Trashed are preparing to release new music and tour.
