Watashi [wah-tah-shee] is a musician, songwriter, producer and DJ currently based in Bali, Indonesia. Inspired by his experiences growing up in Japan, his music features an array of Eastern textures as well as ethnic instruments from cultures across the globe. To Watashi, genres are only restraints on creative sonic expression - and composing uplifting, thought provoking music that pushes boundaries & resonates universally is the essence of his existence.
